Severe Weather: Rainfall
We are exploring the severe weather condition known as heavy
rainfall. Based on our data analysis, heavy rainfall in Richmond County, NY is
more likely to occur during the months of August and September. New York
generally has a humid continental climate. Heavy rainfall is more likely to
occur during August and September due to extra tropical cyclones and cold
fronts.
